In March 2009, Resource Magazine prepared the documentary film Journey by those documentary images; then they carried out a Brazil film culture exhibition, Charm of Culture—Brazil·Poem of Love at Xi’an Art Gallery and published a large format film atlas, Journey—Brazil·Poem of Love by cooperating with National and Folk Literature and Art Center of Ministry of Culture of the PRC, China Documentary Research Center and Shaanxi Normal University General Punishing House Co., Ltd.

Beijing Film Academy invites Yanjun Zhang and Xiao Linjie to conduct academic exchanges on the documentary film Charm of Culture in the School of Graduate.

In January 2007, invited by the Chinese Political Consultative Conference, Yanjun Zhang, leading “a delegation of Brazil ethnic culture messengers”, paid a visit to China. At the press conference in Diaoyutai State Guesthouse of Beijing, representatives from the Brazilian Ministry of Culture and the Independent Film Production Union of Films and Television proposed to produce a dramatic documentary about Chinese civilization and to organize cultural exchange activities in both countries.

In 2000, Zhang presided over the planning and implementation of “China-themed Carnival”. This was the first time when the “Chinese culture” was presented at the Brazilian carnival.
